Manacor
Manacor is the second town of Mallorca and the hub of the whole east coast. People here live off more than tourism — furniture workshops, the pearl trade, farming and everyday commerce — which is why the town keeps its rhythm through the winter as well as the summer.

A town, not a resort
Manacor rewards people who want to belong somewhere rather than visit it. The old centre winds around the church of Nostra Senyora dels Dolors and its tall bell tower, with pavement cafés, a covered produce market and family shops that have changed hands down the generations. There is a hospital, schools for every age, sports clubs and the tennis academy that carries the name of the town’s most famous resident.
Country all around
Step past the ring road and the land turns to almond and carob groves, dry-stone walls and old fincas reached down unhurried lanes. The municipality is large and runs all the way to the sea, so a country house near Manacor still puts you within a short drive of Porto Cristo, Cala Romántica and the coves to the south.
What buyers look for here
Two very different homes suit Manacor. In town, there are stone townhouses and courtyard houses to restore, and newer villas on the edges. In the countryside, buyers come for fincas with room to breathe — land, a pool, olive trees, long views. Rural plots carry their own building rules, so we always suggest an independent lawyer and architect look over a country property before you commit.
